Nov. 03 – Present Applications Architect R.L.Polk Southfield
- Responsible for introducing Oracle Developer toolset (Reports, Discoverer) to internal production teams. This included administration, configuration (database and application server) and mentoring.
- Taught Oracle Discoverer and Reports classes to internal teams saving company $25k
- Designed and implemented solution for Aftermarket group to move from legacy format to industry standard XML format. Utilized Pl/Sql and Discoverer.
- Was instrumental in introducing Oracle Application Express for internal development. This included developing several corporate applications to streamline project planning and work request processing.
- Sole internal developer for customizing Salesforce for company applications. Created billing solutions that had ROI of $100k.
- Presented at Detroit Salesforce User group.
- Participated in Oracle Application Express podcast with Oracle Product Manager.

Aug. 00 – Nov. 03 Lead Applications Developer Metals USA Hazel Park
- Primary architect/developer for Metals USA LINK. A web-based order entry/review system utilized by customer and sales. Generated over $50m in sales during first 2 years. This involved getting business requirements from users, designing and implementing the Oracle database, configuring the Oracle application server and developing the website.
- Provided Pl/Sql support for Oracle 8.1.6 data warehouse and created management reports using Oracle Discoverer and Oracle Reports.
- Took over support for government contract group’s website and Oracle Applications. This provided company with cost savings of approximately $30k per month.
- Developed automated order entry interface between website and backend ERP system using Jacada. This allowed sales to focus on customers as well as eliminating data-entry errors.
- Developed company standardized checks and invoices using Formscape.
- Enhanced website to accept orders from customers’ ERP systems directly using XML.
- Provided on-going support for web-based order entry system used by Dept. of Defense. This included adding ARIBA B2B capabilities which awarded the company $50k for contract fulfillment.

- Y2K conversion and testing project – Monthly recognition award – July 99.
- Responsible for testing CICS application with factory converted Y2K -compliant code. Since there was no client help available, all analysis and setting up of Hiperstation test scripts had to be done myself. Also involved in debugging and fixing any problems and writing reports for client.
- Assisted in developing and maintaining worldwide licensing application.
- Involved with writing functional specification and extensive Uniface and javascript coding.

- Built security access application and Email directory application using SQL Server, Visual Interdev and ASP on company’s intranet.
- Developed registration web site to allow customers to login from the internet and release orders using ASP, FrontPage98 and SQL Server 6.5.
